Thailand Promotes Direct Clean-Energy Agreements for Data Centres

On 5 November, Thailand highlighted Direct Power Purchase Agreements (Direct PPAs) as a way to expand access to clean electricity for data centres and major industrial users. Discussions with Google also addressed the environmental impact of data-centre electricity and water consumption. No new PPA contract value or renewable-energy tariff was announced. The policy creates opportunities for solar developers, energy consultants and sustainability technology providers. HPC can support ESG assessments, clean-energy feasibility studies and green-investment planning.
